Our accommodation

Klair House Residential Care Homes provide high standard accommodation for both male and female residents. The accommodation offered is of a homely environment and offers the highest standards of care with good integration within the community. All bedrooms are single rooms (over 12 m²) with full en-suite bathrooms (with bath and shower).

Within Klair House there are four bedrooms on the ground floor and six bedrooms on the first floor. Within Callum House there are two bedrooms on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the first floor. Television points are available in each room, along with satellite television and ‘Wi-Fi’ connection for internet access. Communal spaces include the lounge, dining room with residents’ kitchen area, conservatory, ‘quiet’ area in the front entrance, the gardens, and the “skills workshop” which is housed within the grounds.

We provide long-term care for those who require it, and also medium-term care with the emphasis on rehabilitation in preparation for independent living. With this in mind, we have seven “transitional” studio-type self-contained units either within or attached to the main buildings for occupation by residents preparing for independent living.

Visiting services include a hairdresser, optician and chiropodist.

There are very few “house rules” but residents are requested to respect the privacy and presence of other residents within the Home.
